Herschel R. Lessin, MD, FAAP, attended Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, CA, and received his medical degree in 1979. After a transitional internship, he conducted his residency in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT (1980-1983). In addition, Dr. Lessin received board certification in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. He remains a professional member of the Medical Society of the State of New York and the Dutchess County Medical Society. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAPA) having met the standards and guidelines required of the nation’s leading pediatricians. Dr. Lessin has been voted by the readers of HV Parent magazine as one of their Favorite Docs & Providers.
